- HAVE FAITH- Nothing can exist without our belief. If you want to find a wonderful person, you have to believe that a wonderful person is out there for you and they will find you.
- HAVE FUN- What is dating without fun? If dating should be anything it’s a good time, if you’re not having fun you’re doing it wrong.
- REJECTION IS INEVITABLE- Everyone faces rejection even the most wonderful, beautiful, interesting and kind-hearted people. There are no exceptions.
- HAVE STANDARDS- If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. In dating nothing attracts the right people to you than standards. If you can’t discern quality from crap you’ll always get crap.
- BE OPTIMISTIC- No one likes a negative Nancy or a Debbie downer. The only way to make it through the ups and downs of dating is to have a positive attitude.
- DATING TAKES GUTS- Dating is scary and you need to have guts to make it through. If you don’t have guts to face the scary parts of dating then yous a lame.
- HAVE AN OPEN HEART- There is no way someone can like you if you aren’t open to being liked. The person you want will be blocked just like everyone else if you keep your heart closed.
- HAVE AN OPEN MIND- You don’t know where potential dates may lead so if you aren’t open to possibility opportunity will never find you.
- MAINTAIN YOUR DIGNITY- Ethics, morals and personal standards are what help us like ourselves. The more lax you are with what you are willing to accept the more you’re putting your self-esteem at risk.
- HAVE OPTIONS- Dating is about options relationships are about not having options. If you are single options are your best bet. The more options you have is a direct result of how desirable you are. If you don’t have options, well, you know what that means.
